“Taranto in short” nasce da un’idea di Andrea Simonetti, attore e regista tarantino, Michele Bramo, organizzatore di eventi culturali e Andrea Simonetti jr., addetto stampa dell’associazione “Il Palio di Taranto” con il patrocinio del Comune di Taranto e dell’Apulia Film Commission.

La mission del Festival è di promuovere e di diffondere la settima arte nel capoluogo ionico, sin’ora sprovvisto di un evento di tale portata.

Un programma fitto d’incontri impegnerà gli ospiti, realtà del mondo associativo e la cittadinanza in un vortice culturale travolgente, creando così proficui scambi d’idee e progetti.

Il cinema è un canale meraviglioso per restituire ad un territorio visibilità, ricchezza e cultura, ed è un obiettivo che “Taranto in short” vuole raggiungere attraverso un mix di ospitalità, competenza ed alto livello artistico.
